More Cheapass Demos on the Horizon

I signed up for three slots at my local convention coming in a few months. Should be good; they're an organized group of gamers.

They've avoided that dreadful disease of convention organizers everywhere: "Can't-Get-Our-Shit-Together-Itis."

Rest and relaxation weekend

I spent the entire weekend asleep, sick as a dog. I'm always conscious of being in one of two modes: burning energy or recharging energy. I spent the last month and a half burning energy, and have been coasting along at work, getting a sore throat and fever Tuesday, and suffering through the week for some stupid reason. I should have taken a sick day, but I didn't.

When my wife went over to visit her parents, I stayed home to rest. I was so sick I didn't go to the Houston Gamers meeting yesterday. I'd feel guilty if I weren't so exhausted.

Yet another webpage to update

I played a few games of Ticket To Ride at the Days of Wonder website http://ticket2ridegame.com/ and enjoyed it. I won a few, I lost more.

Of all the online games I've played, this one's in the top five. I won't say the best ever, because I managed to drag myself away from it.

You can also just observe games, which is a good way to learn the (very simple) rules.
